So much depends…
TRANSFORM-iN EDUCATION fosters conversations between all those interested in achieving the balance of conformity and transformation in education.  This includes teachers, pupils, researchers, parents, friends, governors, and policy-makers.  The inclining i  suggests the  possibilities  for transformation amidst the dominant rectitude within current schooling and of statutory curricula, including a moral conformity and rational certainty.   It highlights an ethical disposition of coming together to share and co-construct new avenues for research and  impact.
TRANSFORM-iN EDUCATION   is an imperative, if our children might do more than simply study existing knowledge.  Children require opportunities to respond in ways that are unique:  to  critique and creatively disrupt the taken-for-granted, including  what can be done or thought within their school day.
TRANSFORM-iN EDUCATION challenges the idea of an exclusive emphasis on children’s conformity within schools. Children currently become successful by acquiring lots of curriculum knowledge and behaving in particular ways. The main role of the teacher is to impart what children must learn. Our research questions this as the most effective form of education.
